Hook: When did you last doubt God’s ability by taking matters into your own hands?

Book: Jesus used Peter’s astonishment at the curse on the fig tree to teach him a lesson about prayer. If Jesus has such miraculous ability, He has the power to answer prayer. The two demands He makes are to have faith in God and forgive others. The dramatic language Jesus used in the passage illustrates well His ability to act on your behalf.
