Hook: Which various paths do people follow to land themselves in heaven?

Book: According to Jesus, there is only one path to heaven: Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. He explained that His followers must have two births: a physical birth through their mothers, water and flesh, and a spiritual birth prompted by the Spirit through faith. So people of any age can enjoy a second birth, the spiritual birth, if they believe in him (verse 16). According to Jesus, this new birth is essential for heaven and provides salvation for the soul.

Took: If you are not sure that you have been born again, tell the Father that you believe in His son, Jesus, and ask Him to forgive your sins. Why is birth such an appropriate metaphor for becoming a follower of Jesus?
