Good Enough for God?

Hook: Why do some people feel like they could never fully please God?

Book: Since Levi was despised as a first-century tax collector for the Romans, Jesus was criticized for selecting him as a disciple and for enjoying company with his associates. These religious leaders piously assumed that this group was unworthy and inferior. Jesus made it clear that true religion is not about the self-righteous but sinners. In their zeal to judge others, they simply revealed their own inferiority and need of a Savior. Anyone can be accepted by God if they accept His terms—repentance.

Took: What do you miss when you judge others? If you had a Levi banquet, what would it look like?
