Hook: Why do you think some faithful believers in Jesus may harbor questions about faith?

Book: Since John the Baptist was in prison and could not personally observe the ministry of Jesus, he sent his followers to ask questions. Jesus simply replied that His work testified to His identity as Messiah. John’s question must have been from a pure heart because Jesus went beyond His answer to praise John as above all others. He and John shared a common message but had different styles. God welcomes honest questions because they open the door to transforming answers.
