Hook: How would you describe a contrary personality? Why do some people like to take this stance?

Book: Some people refuse to understand. In the previous passage, the religious leaders brazenly condemned Jesus for healing a blind and mute man. Now, they requested another miracle. Jesus had had enough. He addressed them as a wicked and adulterous generation and refused another sign until His resurrection, which would seal their doom. In the Judgment, their unbelief will so frustrate the people of Nineveh and the Queen of the South who believed, that they will condemn them as well. Even Jesus, the perfect One, had people reject Him.
